The STEM Curriculum at Thomas Harding Junior School 

Our STEM Intent 

Our innovative STEM curriculum, which is underpinned by the National Curriculum, provides opportunities for cross-curricular links in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. The application of skills allows children to have a better understanding of STEM in the wider world as cross curricular links are explicit. Children are provided with opportunities to develop their enquiry and resilience through child-led investigations and STEM challenges. We make use of our extensive school grounds, local area and educational visits so learning is purposeful and memorable. In addition, children meet people from the world of STEM providing children the opportunity to broaden their horizons and motivate children to achieve their potential and be successful life long learners.
