24th April
Welcome back to the summer term and week 3 of closure.
Welcome back to the summer term! We hope that all of our families have had a calm and relaxing break (which we appreciate is very different from what Easter would normally look like!) School has been open throughout the holiday, ensuring that the children of essential key workers and those that are more vulnerable are still able to attend. Here are some photos of the activities that have been taking place in school.

Week 2 of Closure - Sees Incredibly Creative Provision both at Home and at School!
Well, today marks two weeks since we closed to most children and began plans to provide Emergency Childcare Provision. Throughout this time, all of our staff have been working on a rota basis in school in order to care for the children of Key Workers. Of course in addition to this work, our teachers continue to set work for their classes and keep in touch with their families and pupils.
This has been a very difficult and busy time, and so today as we start our Easter 'Holidays' we are hoping to build in some much needed rest and respite for the staff. Of course, the rota system in school will continue (as we still have key worker children to care for) and we will endeavour to answer any queries or concerns via the main school email address. However, I have asked teachers to switch off at home, look after themselves and to prioritise this and their families for the next two weeks. We will resume Home Learning communication on Monday 20th April.
